What to do

- Close, freeze, or restrict affected accounts to help prevent additional unauthorized activity
- Place a fraud alert or security freeze with a major credit bureau
- Report the identity theft to your local law enforcement agency
- File an identity theft report with the Federal Trade Commission at IdentityTheft.gov
- Obtain your free annual credit report annually at www.annualcreditreport.com
