• • How do I sign up for Online Banking?

  • Step-by-Step Process to register for Online Banking

    1. Go to the United Bank & Trust homepage and click on the "Sign-Up" link on the Online Banking box in the top right corner.
    2. After clicking on the “Sign up” link, complete the registration form. Remember the username and password that you created for future login purposes.
    3. After completing the registration form you will receive a confirmation email from United Bank & Trust.
    4. Within 1-2 business days, you will receive an email notifying you that your registration has been approved. You will be able to immediately login to Online Banking using your credentials you created during your registration.  Your account information, however, may not be available to view until the following business day.
    5. Once you login, you will need to verify your phone number or email address. This security verification process will be used when logging in from a new device.
    6. If you have entered your phone number as a verification option, you must confirm that you have entered the correct number.
    7. Once you have entered and saved all of your information, select where you would like to receive your verification code. Check your phone or email based on what you selected. (The code is only valid for 10 minutes after you receive it.)
    8. After receiving the verification code, enter the information. You then have the option to register your computer. Once a computer is registered, you will not have to complete the verification process every time you login.
    9. Once you have logged on and completed the verification process, you are now ready to use all the features of Online Banking!

  • How do I activate my new debit card?

  • Activate a New Debit Card

    To activate a new debit card (not a renewal or replacement of an existing card), you will need to call 1-800-992-3808.

    Please have the following:

    1. Call from a phone number we have on file
    2. Your debit card number
    3. Your debit card expiration date
    4. The 3 digit code on the back of the card
    5. The last 4 digits of your SSN

    You will then be prompted to select your PIN and your card will be activated.

    Activate a Renewal Debit Card

    To activate a renewal or replaced debit card in which you have already had a card with an established PIN.  Simply use your new card  at an ATM or at a retailer using your PIN number.  This will activate your card.

    
     

  • How do I report debit card fraud?

  • When you notice fraud has taken place using your debit card, the first step is to close your card so no further transactions can be processed. Call the bank at 641-753-5900.

    Once the card is closed, call or visit one of our locations to assist you with ordering a new debit card, and clearing up the fraudulent transactions that have posted to your account.

  • How do I change my PIN on my Debit Card?

  • If you decided to change your PIN on your debit card, simply call 1-800-992-3808. 

    You will need the following:

    1. To call from a phone number we have on file
    2. The debit card number
    3. The expiration date of your card
    4. The 3 digit code on the back of the card
    5. The last 4 digits of your SSN

    You can then select your new PIN for immediate use.

  • How do I report a lost or stolen card?

  • As soon as you notice your card is missing, the first step is to close your card so no further transactions can be processed. Call the bank at 641-753-5900 during business hours, or 1-800-472-3272 after business hours. 

    Once the card is closed, call or visit one of our locations to assist you with ordering a new card.
