Lauren Zaabel Earns Certificate

United Bank & Trust is pleased to announce that Lauren Zaabel has successfully completed the
Iowa Bankers Association’s Introduction to Commercial Lending School (IBA-ICLS).
The intensive three-day program, sponsored by the Iowa Bankers Association, provides participants with a strong foundation in commercial lending principles. Through a combination of lectures, a comprehensive case study, and problem-loan exercises, students develop essential skills in credit analysis, risk assessment, and loan structuring.
Zaabel joined United Bank & Trust in April 2025, shortly before graduating summa cum laude from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business and Economics. During her time at Iowa State, she earned Dean’s List honors and was actively involved in the Agricultural Business Club and several other campus organizations.
In her role at United Bank & Trust, Zaabel supports the lending team by assisting with credit analysis and providing tailored loan solutions for business and agricultural clients to help them achieve their financial goals.
