Stuff the Bus

For several years, the House of Compassion has offered the community the opportunity to make a significant difference in the education of under privileged students in Marshall County by soliciting and distributing school supplies to children in preschool through high school.

Last year, the project helped over 800 local youth. Items needed this year include:

  • folders
  • spiral notebooks
  • loose leaf paper
  • composition notebook
  • pencil boxes
  • colored pencils (12 count)
  • large or pencil top erasers
  • blue, black or red pens
  • crayons (24 count)
  • scissors (for elementary age students)
  • pencils
  • 3-ring notebooks
  • makers

When supplies are purchased, you may drop them off at United Bank & Trust (2101 S. Center St. location) no later than August 5th.  Items will be delivered to the students before school begins.

Thank you for your consideration in helping making the days of school brighter for our local youth.
